Testimonies
This is my testimony of the Lord’s favor, and how He works all things together for His Glory, in His timing.
After a fall 14 years ago, I had surgery on the vertebra in my neck to replace the broken bones and relieve pressure on my spinal cord. Using the skills and gifts from the Lord, the surgeons were successful.
But last year, my legs grew increasingly weak, and some of the symptoms I had before my previous surgery were returning.
With much favor from the Lord, I was able to make appointments with my original doctors, have all the necessary tests done, and have another surgery…all within 2 weeks…everything quickened by the Lord.
I felt immediate relief, but because my legs were still weak, I had to use a cane for balance. I also knew there would be a 6-week recovery period, wearing a neck collar 24 hours a day.
Two weeks later, Pastors Ken and Debra returned from the Lakeland, Fla., Revival, and I went forward after the service to receive prayer for the impartation of the Lord’s power…. and I received it immediately!!!
I removed my neck collar, and was able to jump up and down, and to dance before the Lord again!! Praise God!!
But…I felt the Lord tell me to put the collar back on until after my next visit with the surgeon in 4 weeks. The reason is this:
During the first exam by the surgeon, the Lord revealed to me that this doctor has a back problem, and pain. Even though he has access to the best medical advice, he is unable to be healed. There is no hope for him…only the Lord’s healing can help him.
So, the Lord told me to keep the neck collar on, 24 hours a day, as a reminder to pray daily for the Lord’s healing touch for Dr. Casey.
I praise the Lord for touching me, and though I may never know it, I believe He is at work in this doctor’s life.
